Joselito has always been a state-of-the-art brand within its sector, not only when offering the best ham in the world, but also within the gastronomic sector, with projects such as Joselito LAB and Happy Joselito.


Accordingly with our aim targeted on cooking investigation, Joselito organizes jointly with Madrid Fusión the first Joselito International Championship of the Best Ham Croquette in the world. The contest takes place within the XIII edition of the international gastronomic meeting at the Spanish capital and it expects to find that recipe that is able to gather in just a mouthful all the haute cuisine essence, while being based on Joselito Iberian ham.


The contenders, who can take part in the contest from anywhere around the world, should send their suggestions by email before the 2nd of January of 2015. 6 final recipes will be chosen from among all the sent ones by a jury compound by journalists, chefs and gastronomic specialists. The jury will evaluate all the recipes of these 6 cooks.

 

The finalist will cook their recipe in front of the jury during the great final. The final’s result will end into 12 croquettes per contender, which are will be scrupulously appraised by the gastronomic experts and the specialized press. The winner will receive the title of “Best Joselito ham Croquette in the world”, an exclusive piece of Joselito Gran Reserva Iberian acorn-fed ham, apart from a double invitation for visiting the Joselito dehesa, in El Coto del Rey ranch, a Joselito’s property located in Extremadura, including lodging and a dinner in the luxurious Atrio Restaurant Hotel Relais & Chateaux from Cáceres.
